THAILAND AND THE INFLUENZA A (H1N1): INFORMATION FOR VISITORS

Since 12 May, 2009, the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand has confirmed over 500 laboratory-confirmed cases of influenza A (H1N1) infection in Thailand. The Department of Medical Sciences, Ministry of Public Health, has been working closely with laboratories of various universities to identify the confirmed cases of influenza A(H1N1) everyday. All of the confirmed cases were duly reported to the World Health Organization in accordance with the International Health Regulations (2005). Thailand fully commits to the transparency of information with regards to the situation of the influenza A (H1N1) within the Kingdom.  More
