Not only that they charge extra fees for stamping passports upon entry, they also have unfriendly attitudes and leave a negative impression on visitors entering from the south.</p><p>After all, they are public servants of the kingdom and don't own the border!</p><p>I should add that I cross the Thai border in the South several times each year and I never have experienced such a lousy service at Sungai Kolok, Padang Bezar or Bedong crossings. When I traveled with my own car I went out of my way to avoid Sadao, but as a passenger on a public bus one hardly can avoid Sadao. </p><p>I have heard rumors that some extra targeted schooling of the Immigration staff at BKK Int'l resulted in a much improved service afterwards and wish the Sadao officers could benefit from such a schooling as well.</p><p>Best regards</p><p>Frank</p>
