Chatuchak Market, also known as JJ Market, is a popular destination for many shop owners who travel from other parts of Thailand as well from around the world to replenish inventory for their own stores. With over 9,000 shops to choose from it is easy to get lost in a wealth of choices. With thousands of booths, it is easy to understand how one can purchase everything from pets to musical instruments with a meal and drink thrown in.  Supposedly this week end market is divided into sections ranging from arts and crafts to books and magazines but don’t let this organizational structure fool you into thinking that you can easily find your way back to revisit a shop that had that special item you were thinking about buying. A GPS system would have an impossible time navigating through this labyrinth. The best method is just to wander and let chance be your guide.
